Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor is a talented actress, a doting mother and a big time foodie. She keeps sharing pictures of her dinner nights with scrumptious meals on her table. Besides this, Kapoor is often spotted at the get-togethers with her big family.  Before leaving for Europe with her actor-husband Saif Ali Khan and kids Taimur and Jeh to celebrate New Years, Kareena spoke about the Kapoor family’s love for food and their favourite dish.

On being asked what is more important to the Kapoor family- films or food, the actress said that it is tough choice because Kapoors are highly passionate about both acting and food. In fact, it is of utmost priority to this family. She spoke further and revealed the one dish that ‘united’ the family. Kareena said that the one big dish that they all love eating whenever they meet is ‘Paya’. It is like a gravy, a curry which they trip on whenever they gather at one place.

Continuing with the get-togethers of Kapoors, Kareena compared her family to big Italian families and said that they all have very loud voices. So, if someone hears them talking to each other, they ask ‘are they fighting?’ “You can’t even understand, and have to be like ‘what, what, what?’ It is literally like that. Actually, we are having fun,” she stated.

On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor will appear next in Hansal Mehta’s untitled film and Sujoy Ghosh’s remake of the Japanese novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. She also has Rhea Kapoor’s ‘The Crew’ alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon in her kitty. Kareena was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya.
