Actor Eva Grover has made a series of serious allegations against her former husband, Hyder Ali Khan, the half-brother of Bollywood star Aamir Khan. In a recent interview, Eva claimed that during their marriage, Hyder allegedly pressured her to have physical relationships with film directors and producers in exchange for work and money. She also recalled enduring years of physical and emotional abuse before the couple eventually divorced.
Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Eva said she was left shocked when Hyder allegedly suggested that she compromise to support the household financially. Recalling the incident, she claimed he told her to “run the house” by getting close to directors. According to the actor, that conversation marked a turning point in their relationship and convinced her that the marriage could not continue.
Eva alleged that despite facing financial difficulties, she refused to act on the suggestion. She said she chose to support the family through her work instead of compromising her principles. According to her, she continued working long hours while also dealing with an increasingly difficult home environment.
The television actor also opened up about what she described as years of domestic violence. She alleged that Hyder frequently became physically abusive and that she lived in constant fear during the five years they were married. Eva said she initially believed the situation would improve with time, but the relationship only deteriorated further.
Eva revealed that she had married Hyder after knowing him for just 18 days. Looking back, she admitted the decision was impulsive and driven by her long-held dream of getting married. She said she soon realised she had made a mistake but continued trying to save the relationship, even hoping that starting a family might change things. According to her, those efforts were ultimately unsuccessful, and the marriage ended in divorce.
The actor also spoke about losing custody of her daughter after the separation, describing it as one of the most painful experiences of her life. Despite everything she says she endured, Eva expressed concern for Hyder’s current condition. She claimed he is now living in extremely difficult circumstances, struggling for food and shelter while battling schizophrenia.
Earlier interviews have also revealed that Aamir Khan had allegedly advised Eva against marrying Hyder. According to her, the actor was aware of his brother’s behavioural issues and had cautioned her before the wedding. However, Eva said she ignored the warning because she was determined to go ahead with the marriage.
Hyder Ali Khan has not publicly responded to Eva Grover’s latest allegations regarding abuse or the claim that he pressured her to sleep with directors. As of now, these remain allegations made by Eva, and there has been no public response from Hyder or Aamir Khan regarding the recent interview.
