‘Kick’ Actor Arun Verma Passes Away At 62- Deets Inside
Actor Arun Verma, who was starred in movies like Kick and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, passed away on January 20. The 62-year-old actor was hospitalized after suffering from a brain stroke. The star’s body was paralyzed and was shifted to People’s Hospital in Bhopal.
Arun Verma acted in over 80 films in his career. The actor was part of films like Heropanti, Khalnayak, Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat and more. Verma acted in the upcoming film Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kangana Ranaut. The actor’s last rites took place at 4 pm on January 20.
In a statement to the media, Verma’s nephew said, “Arun Ji passed away at 2.00 am today, he was admitted to People’s Hospital, Bhopal. He had a block in his brain and slowly all his organs failed, including his lungs, and finally, he succumbed to kidney failure.” The actor made his acting debut in 1987 with the film Dacait.
Tributes Pour In For Late Actor
Artists’ bodies CINTAA took to Twitter to pay tribute to the late actor. The association announced that Arun Verma had been a part of the artists’ body since 2004. Various others from the industry took to social media to express their deepest condolences to the late actor’s family and friends.
The Indian Film & TV Producer Council also paid tribute to actor Arun Verma. The actor’s close friend Uday Dahia took to social media to inform about the actor’s demise. Arun Verma is now survived by his siblings and parents. Verma’s demise is indeed an irreparable loss to the Indian Film Industry. May his soul rest in peace!
