Ajay Devgn To Star In A Psychological Thriller After ‘Runway 34’- Deets Inside
Later this summer Ajay Devgn is all set to bring another psychological thriller to the screens. The movie titled ‘Naam’ will star Ajay in the lead and is reportedly going to be action-packed along with mind-bending. The film will be under the direction of the veteran Anees Bazmee, although we are aware of the fact that Ajay himself has become a master at direction hence it won’t be a surprise if he contributes his directorial skills as well.
The talks for the release are going on. It is being said that the makers cannot decide where to release the movie. The confusion is about where should the movieland, theatre, or directly to OTT. ‘Naam’ is a psychological thriller in which a person loses his memory and embarks on a journey to find his identity. The film has been shot in Switzerland and Mumbai.
The Bazmee-Ajay collaboration will be the pair’s fourth project together as they have made films like ‘Hulchul‘, ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’, and ‘Deewangee’ already. The film has been acquired by Roongta Entertainment. Gujarat-based real estate mogul and Bollywood producer Anil Roongta is the one who makes the deals for films under the banner of Roongta Entertainment.
Expressing his excitement Anil Roongta said “Naam is truly special for me because it also marks the fourth collaboration of the superhit jodi of Ajay and Anees post ‘Deewangee’, ‘Pyaar toh hona hi tha’ and ‘Hulchul’. Ajay is fantastic to work with, he puts a lot into playing any character yet always looks effortless on screen!”
With a May to July release window in mind, fans can expect a proper announcement soon. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is busy promoting Runway 34 starring Rakul Preet Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Akansha Singh, and a cameo by Indian Youtuber Carryminati who is Asia’s most famous person on the platform.
