Alia Bhaat: ‘If People Are Waiting For My Wedding Then, They Have To Wait For It’

Alia Bhatt has had a wonderful year at the box office from her last Hit Raazi, ‘Raazi’ doing phenomenal business. The actress is currently shooting for her upcoming movies ‘Kalank’ and ‘Brahmastra’ in simultaneously in Mumbai. Alia has been in the industry for only six years but she has a huge fan following and is vastly loved by the audience. Recently, Alia also crossed the 25 million mark on Instagram.

There were speculations that Alia is going to tie the knot with actor Ranbir Kapoor in 2019, but Alia says that people have to wait for it. “If people are waiting for my wedding then, they have to wait for it. I think climax should be good and there should be a happy ending to it,” the Raazi actress said while interacting with the media at Lux Golden Rose Awards on Sunday.

Alia and Ranbir kind of made their relationship official when they arrived together in hand in hand at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception earlier this year. Ranbir and Alia are also going to share on screen together for the first time in “Brahmastra”.

Alia and Ranbir have been together almost a year and the Sanju actor also admitted to being in a relationship with Alia in May this year. Ranbir said that their relationship is quite new and it needs time to cook. Recently, Alia visited her beau parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in New York City.

Reacting on Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, imminent wedding which is going to take place in Jodhpur, Alia said, “I am really happy and excited that PC ( Priyanka Chopra) is getting married. I am very excited to see PC and her wedding attire. I am very fond of her and I have a lot of warmth and love for her. I hope that she will have a beautiful wedding. I am sure she will make a beautiful bride and she should have a beautiful life”.

Brahmastra is written and directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. This movie also features some big names including Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in lead roles.
