Arshi Khan is undeniably one of the most entertaining contestants of this season. She is one key housemate who has made generous contribution to keep the Bigg Boss house happening with her dramatic stints. She has also been media’s favourite for she tops trending charts because of her drama, arguments, fights and incessant flirting with Hiten Tejwani.
Well, she is in news again! This time for a pretty serious reason. Remember, there was a case pending against her? The case might halt her amazing Bigg Boss journey, when she is so close to winning and is being hailed as one of the strongest contender to reach finals.
As per a report in IB Times, Jalandhar court has issued an arrest warrant against Arshi for not attending the proceedings from last three months. The warrant was issued on Monday. And adding to our shock, the court has ordered police to enter the Bigg Boss 11 house and arrest Arshi.
Arshi had painted the national flags of India and Pakistan on her body and was accused of trying to create enmity between the communities. Consequently, a case was filed against her. She is skipping the trial for the third time and it is also the second arrest warrant against her.
Arshi’s publicist told a leading news portal that even though the arrest warrant is still valid, he managed to get a stay order. And the stay will be valid till January 15, 2018.
Flynn, Arshi’s publicist was quoted as saying, “An arrest warrant was issued against Arshi Khan on Monday by a Jalandhar magistrate’s court. I could not attend the court as I was down with fever and as we all know, Arshi Khan is locked inside the Bigg Boss house. Arshi Khan has been inside the Bigg Boss house since October 1st and this was the third time that the case came up for hearing in the last three months.”
“However, on producing proof that Arshi Khan is locked up inside the Bigg Boss house, the court was pleased to stay the execution of the warrant till January 15, 2018. In simple terms, this means that the arrest warrant still exists and is not cancelled, but the police will not take action till January 15. If Arshi Khan attends the court before that, the warrant may be cancelled or else the police will execute the warrant,” he further added.
