Aryan Khan and others who were partying on a cruise in Mumbai have been arrested by the NCB and charged under the Narcotics Prevention Act. If convicted, Aryan Khan could face up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh under Section 20B of the Penal Code. What does the law say? All have been charged under sections 20B, 8 (c) 27 and 35 of the Narcotics Control Act. Anyone who violates this Act or does not comply with the terms or conditions laid down under Section 20 (b). That is, he could face up to 10 years in prison and a fine of Rs 1 lakh for importing and exporting drugs.
