Bigg Boss season 11 has purely justified its tag of the most controversial reality show on Indian television. And popular actress Hina Khan has grabbed maximum attention. For all wrong reasons, though! She created a lot of controversies by passing derogatory comments on women inside and outside the house and also turned out to be a queen of hypocrisy.
Her colossal fans expected her stint in the show to be graceful (as her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai), but as she revealed her true colours, it was an absolute contrasting situation. Far from her ideal role in the show, the diva showed her arrogant, insensitive and cheap side. This not only disappointed her massive fans but also left her industry friends annoyed. Eminent TV personalities like Karan Patel, Kamya Punjabi, Suyyash Rai and Guahar Khan have often taken it to Twitter to express their anger towards Hina Khan for her body-shaming, career-shaming, derogatory and hypocrite remarks.
However, Ye Hain Mohabbatein star Anita Hassanandani has a bit different thoughts about the villain of Bigg Boss 11. Last night she attended Ekta Kapoor’s bash as the latter’s TV show Kumkum Bhagya completed 1000 shows. When the diva was asked about Hina Khan, she gave an unexpected reply and said, “she is lovely and is playing well.” She further added that she loved Bigg Boss and doesn’t miss a single episode. Vikas Gupta, a good friend of hers, is her favourite contestant whom she sees in Top 2 along with Shilpa Shinde.
Talking about Kumkum Bhagya and Ekta Kapoor’s success, the actress said, “I am very proud of Ekta! This not her first 1000 of any show but she has given several thousands episodes. But I am very very proud of her. Kumkum Bhagya is a great show. Shabbir (Ahluwalia) is there, who is a great friend of mine. I am really very happy for them. I just hope the shows keeps going and going!”
Anita looked absolutely stunning in a chic black velvet dress with in-vogue red floral embroidery. The success bash of Kumkum Bhagya was also attended by who’s who of televille including Divyanka Tripathi, Krystal D’souza, Karan Patel, Ankita Bhargava, Leena Jumani and others.
