Let us tell you that Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke about the growing insecurity in Bollywood and said, ‘In our industry, the same thing is repeated for five years continuously. Then, when people get bored, they finally let it go. Insecurity has really increased a lot. They think that if a formula is working, then use it. And what became even more pathetic was that it started having 2, 3, 4 sequels.’

Talking about the issue in industry, the actor said, ‘Just like bankruptcy, this must be creative corruption. Our Bollywood industry has been a thief from the beginning, it has stolen stories. 3, 4 sequels are being made. This is creative bankruptcy, just like bankruptcy of money. A lot of creativity is poverty. Our industry has been stealing from the beginning. We have stolen songs, we have stolen stories.’

The actor further said, ‘Now those who are thieves, how can they be creative. We stole from the South, sometimes from here, sometimes from there. Even some cult films that became hits, their scenes are also stolen. It has been normalized so much that so what if it is theft?’ Nawaz is currently seen in the film ‘Costao’, in which he is playing the role of Costao Fernandes, a Goa customs officer who sacrificed everything to put an end to a major gold smuggling operation.
