BTS’ V Breaks Jennifer Aniston, Angelina’s Instagram Debut Records- Deets Inside

On Monday, members of the South Korean boy band BTS joined Instagram under their own identities. All of the accounts currently have over 11 million followers.

V, aka Kim Taehyung, on the other hand, broke Instagram records. According to reports, the popstar surpassed actress Angelina Jolie to become the fastest person on Instagram to gain 1 million followers in 40 minutes.

In addition, he broke Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Friends’ record by becoming the fastest account to reach 10 million followers in 24 hours. Meanwhile, the septet has shared their first photos on their own Instagram accounts. Jin’s first photo shows him in a white full-sleeved T-shirt with the text “Permission to Dance.”

All BTS members are currently following only seven accounts in total. These accounts include the other six members and their band’s official page. All members currently have over 16 million followers each. Here are their unique usernames and number of followers.

Meanwhile, BTS members have successfully wrapped up their Permission To Dance On Stage in the Los Angeles concert. The event was attended by thousands of BTS fans and the septet earned over $33 billion with the same.

BTS will hold an in-person concert in Seoul for the first since the Covid-19 pandemic, the K-pop group announced last week. Currently, BTS is in Los Angeles where they held an in-person concert for four days. They also performed at the US music festival Jingle Ball tour.
