Nasreen Hashmi Has Battled Cancer Multiple Times Since 2018
During the conversation, Nasreen revealed that she has been fighting oral cancer since 2018. Over the years, the disease has relapsed repeatedly, leading to multiple surgeries and continuous treatment. Speaking emotionally about his wife’s health struggles, Sharib Hashmi said, “She has undergone surgery five times so far. The disease has relapsed five times. Now, for the sixth time, it has returned again. This time, it has spread throughout her entire body. This too shall pass; the treatment is ongoing.”

The actor further explained that Nasreen’s cancer is highly aggressive, which is why it keeps returning despite treatment. However, he also highlighted the immense courage and positivity with which she continues to face the illness. According to Sharib, Nasreen’s strength has become a source of motivation not only for him but for the entire family.

Talking about how his wife deals with the disease, Sharib shared that her fearless attitude inspires everyone around her. He stated, “The way she was facing it gave all of us renewed strength. Her cancer is of a highly aggressive nature, which is why the disease recurs so frequently; yet, despite this, she confronts it with immense courage. She fights on.” The emotional revelation touched many fans online, with social media users praising the couple’s resilience and unwavering support for each other during difficult times.

Nasreen said, “He has always been with me. No matter how busy he was during shoots, he would somehow manage to carve out time to reach the hospital.”
