The case concerns the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died in Mumbai on June 8, 2020. The development has once again brought several high-profile names into the spotlight, including Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi and Rhea Chakraborty.

CBI FIR Names Several High-Profile People
According to reports on the FIR, the CBI has listed several people whose roles are to be investigated in connection with the alleged conspiracy, the circumstances surrounding Disha Salian’s death and the subsequent handling of the case. The names mentioned include Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, actors Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi and Rhea Chakraborty, along with several police officials and other individuals.

The FIR also refers to former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in connection with allegations that require investigation. However, an important legal distinction has been highlighted, the people named in the FIR have not been declared accused or prime suspects at this stage. Her death was initially treated as a suicide following the Mumbai Police investigation. Her death gained renewed public attention because actor Sushant Singh Rajput died just six days later, on June 14, 2020.

Disha’s father, Satish Salian, later challenged the earlier version of events and sought a fresh investigation, alleging that his daughter had been murdered.
