‘Cleaned Toilet, Worked In Meat Shop Illegally’: Class Fame Gurfateh Pirzada Recalls His Past Experiences

Actor Gurfateh Pirzada recalls his struggles in his past life. The actor is not blessed or born with the silver spoon, his personal experience is enough to prove that. While talking in a recent interview, Gurfateh opened up about the work and job he had in past. He also explained how he suffered from identity crises during his school time.

Gurfateh Pirzada becomes a well-known name as soon as the Netflix series Class premiered. Class is all about classism and the superiority of money. Gurfateh aka Neeraj Kumar Valmiki grabbed the eyeballs due to his stunning outlook and authentic Indian student vibe. When he was asked about the good reviews of Class and his performance, he said, ” I have no idea about this and was nervous, but people see our efforts and it means a lot to me”. He also shared his school experience as he belongs to a poor family but landed in a high calls private school.

“Everyone at the school where I attended was quite wealthy. I was a young person who was present since I was a staff member’s son. My mother oversaw the dorms. She accepted that position because we lacked the funds for her children to attend a quality school. I experienced an identity crisis, but it also really aided me.” I was surrounded by those who seemed to have everything under control. I was on my own and had to navigate my way into that environment. All of these kids would slip away and attend parties. Although I couldn’t, I would also like to do that. I didn’t have enough money to spend a wild weekend at a club, he added”. He also recalled that his classmates were attending parties and picnics but he was not able to buy 50 Rs chocolate due to a weak financial situation.

“I moved to Canada with my mom and sister where I worked illegally to have some money. I worked in a meat shop, cleaning bathrooms, collecting garbage, and making pizza for more than 4-5 months. But After that, we all took our tickets and come back to India. My mom works in a call center because I need to audition and am not able to get a job”, He concluded.
