Famous comedian and actress Mallika Dua’s father and senior Hindi journalist Vinod Dua passed away today i.e. 4th April 2021. Confirming this, his daughter Mallika Dua said that her last rites will be held tomorrow i.e. 5th April 2021. Vinod Dua had been ill for a long time and was admitted to the hospital for the past few months.

Mallika Dua wrote on Instagram, “Our fearless and extraordinary father Vinod Dua has passed away. He lived a luxurious life, grew up in a refugee colony in Delhi, and made a name for himself in the world of journalism for 42 years, always raising the voice of truth. Now he is with our mother, his wife who is in heaven where they will sing, cook and travel together. His last rites will be performed tomorrow (5.12.21) at the Lodhi crematorium.

A few days ago, he was admitted to the ICU after his health deteriorated. His daughter Mallika Dua had informed him about Vinod Dua’s condition is critical. While writing an emotional post on her Instagram, Mallika had said that her father’s condition is serious, pray for him that he should suffer at least.

Earlier, Vinod Dua and his wife Chinnadua were found to be corona positive during the second wave of the coronavirus. Then Chinna Dua mother of Mallika Dua had died after being unable to survive due to corona. Vinod Dua, 67, was a well-known name in the media. Vinod Dua also worked for Doordarshan. During the second wave of coronavirus, Vinod Dua and his wife were admitted to a hospital in Gurugram where his wife died. Since then Vinod Dua’s health continued to decline and now we lost him also.
