So here we go, following are some quick home remedies which actually lighten your otherwise dark armpits.
1. Potato: Potatoes, we all know are enriched with loads of anti-oxidant properties which further aid in bleaching effect. All you gotta do is grate a potato and apply it all over the affected area. Let it rest for like 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this at least thrice or four times in a week.
Also, you can rub potato juice under your eye area to get rid off from dark circles. Double deal, wohoo!
2. Orange Peel: Filled with the goodness of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants, orange peel is also great for skin. Simply dry the orange peel and grind to make a fine powder. Mix the powder with rose water or millk, and apply it on the affected area. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash with warm/lukewarm water. For best results, do this thrice a week. Orange peel not only works as an effective bleaching area but also is an amazing anti-irritant.
3. Lemon and Baking Soda: Lemon is a yet another hidden bleaching agent in your kitchen. It also has powerful antibacterial properties. Mix lemon juice with baking soda and gently apply under your arms. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with water to get flawless underarms.
However, do not try this therapy on your face as baking soda is a very strong ingredient and might not suit every skin type.
4. Cucumber: Cucumber has oodles of astounding effects on the body and one of them is skin-lightening. Cut thin slices of cucumber and rub it all around the darkened armpits. For swift and better results, grate cucumber and add turmeric and lemon to get spotless skin.
