The dream girl of Bollywood, Hema Malini still has the grace, beauty, and charm to sway anyone off their feet. The actress won thousands of hearts with her stunning looks and acting but her heart was won over by Dharmendra. The two faced a lot of problems in getting married but dough fought all odd together to tie the knot. Apparently, Dharmendra even changed his religion to Islam as his first wife Prakash Kaur was not ready to give him a divorce.

Now, Dharmendra and Hema Malini are madly in love even after so many years. They have two daughters together Ahana Deol and Esha Deol. As Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur, the couple faced a lot of problems in getting married. After fighting the odds, Punjab da puttar, Dharmendra and Queen of South, Hema Malini got married in a nikaah ceremony in 1979. Hema ji and Dharmendra have been married for forty years now and are blessed with two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, who are happily settled in their own lives. Hema Malini and Dharmendra may have a very unconventional relationship, but the love that binds them together is just blissful to see.

While Dharmendra is still trying hand at acting with his sons, Hema ji is busy propagating the BJP’ Swach Bharat agendas as a BJP MP. Hema Malini was out for a cleanliness drive at the Parliament to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s project, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. As soon as the video went viral, trolls couldn’t stop laughing hard over it and the latest to join them was Hema Malini’s husband, Dharmendra. When he was asked by a Twitter user if Hema Malini has ever even picked up a broom in her entire life, Dharmendra had replied, “Haan films main, mujhe bhi anaadi lag rahi thi. Maine magar bachpan mein, apni maa ka hamesha haath bataya hai. Mai jhaadoo mein maahir tha. I love cleanliness.”

However, Dharmendra made sure to apologize to his beautiful wife Hema Malini in the most beautiful ways. Dharmendra tweeted, “Kuchh bhi keh baithta hoon. kuchh bhi KI bhawna ko. Kuchh bhi samajh baithte hain yaar log. TWEET BADSHAH. kuchh bhi kiya baat jhaadu ki bhi… tauba tauba… kabhi na karon ga. Hum ka maafi de do maalik”.
