She doesn’t use her surname Saigal and has also appealed to the media to address her by her name itself.
She acted first on the big screen in Telugu film ‘Akhil’ in 2015. After that, she got a break in Bollywood with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ in 2016. Her Tamil film ‘Vanamagan’ will hit the screens in June this year.
‘Shivaay’ actress was also very impressed with Ajay Devgn’s directorial skills. She calls him an actor’s director.
While talking to a leading portal the actress said “Ajay sir liked my photographs and I auditioned for him. I enacted a couple of scenes and was finalised for the role.”
Talking about her and career in the interview she added,”The only insecurity I have is whether people will like me. I don’t have an alternate career option.”
While discussing DilipKumar and Saira Banu she told that she is very blessed to have them and sitting and talking with them about the movies is like attending a masterclass for her.
Her favourite Dilip Kumar film is Mashaal (1984) and Purab Aur Pashchim (1970) of Saira Banu.
However, Sayyeshaa’s parents are not together anymore, they were separated when she was two only two years old. She is equally close to both of them.
