The Awarapan 2 actress arrived at the religious gathering dressed in a traditional red ghagra paired with a matching blouse and dupatta. While many admired her elegant appearance, her plunging neckline and the way she draped the dupatta over one shoulder caught the attention of several social media users. Soon, some netizens criticised the actress for wearing the outfit at a religious event. Her look was also compared to Kriti Sanon’s attire in a viral Rakhi advertisement, which was later removed from television and social media following backlash over the actress’ deep-neck blouse. However, Disha’s fans defended her and praised her traditional look, showing their support online.

The comment quickly drew attention from other social media users. “Same kind of dressing always! Inappropriate for a religious gathering.” Another netizen made a sarcastic comment while referring to Kriti Sanon and said, “Kriti should learn sanskar from her.” (sic)
Another user said that people like her should not be invited to such occasions and called Disha ‘shameless’. Another criticised her for repeatedly wearing similar outfits.
