Dolly Parton Will Debut A Massive Ride At Dollywood – Deets Inside

At Dollywood, singer Dolly Parton is debuting a brand-new roller coaster. In 1986, the 76-year-old country music legend founded the theme park in her home state of Tennessee.

She revealed that a brand-new coaster called The Big Bear Mountain, which is expected to cost $25 million will debut in 2023.

The Dollywood corporation tweeted: “Join Ned Oakley in Spring 2023 on our greatest family adventure yet: Big Bear Mountain,” along with a preview video for the upcoming attraction. With 3,990 feet of track, this multi-launch thrill adds a six-acre adventure to Wildwood Grove.

The ‘Jolene’ hitmaker took to social media to express her “excitement” that fans will be able to make the journey into the Smoky Mountains taken by individual via the cruise while quoting her 1994 song ‘Smoky Mountain Memories’.

The Big Bear Mountain ride will feature “three separate rollouts, numerous airtime hills, high-speed carousel moves, and passageways, including a pass behind such a waterfall.”

“The Smokies focus on exploration and going sightseeing,” Dolly Parton wrote on Twitter. I’m thrilled that our visitors will be able to venture into the Smokies on their own to see if they can spot the Big Bear.
