The buzz around Trisha intensified after reports emerged that Sangeetha Sornalingam had withdrawn her divorce petition against Vijay from the Chengalpattu Family Court. According to reports, Sangeetha appeared before the court through video conference and stated that she no longer wished to pursue the case. The court subsequently allowed her to withdraw the petition, while also giving her the liberty to file a fresh petition in the future if required. The court order did not specify why she decided to withdraw the case.
