New Delhi, October 25, 2025 – The AIFACS Gallery, Rafi Marg, witnessed a deeply evocative evening as artist Goldy Malhotra inaugurated her solo exhibition “Echoes of the Eternal.” The event was graced by Chief Guest, Mr. Dikshu Kukreja, renowned architect, urban planner, and Honorary Consul General of Albania, and Guest of Honour, Mr. Sanjay Passi, Chairman of Pasco Group.
The exhibition was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Mrs. Goldy Malhotra, Mr. Dikshu Kukreja, and Mr. Sanjay Passi, marking the beginning of a visual and spiritual journey that celebrates continuity through art, culture, and introspection.
Featuring more than forty paintings, Echoes of the Eternal presents a meditative exploration across three major themes: Buddhism, Indian mythology, and contemporary life. Each theme unfolds as a chapter in a larger spiritual dialogue, moving from the serenity and compassion of Buddhist thought to the symbolism and narrative depth of mythological tales, and finally to the quiet reflections of the modern world.
While diverse in imagery and emotion, these works are bound by a common pursuit of continuity and a search for what lies beyond time and change. Together, they form a visual tapestry that speaks to the eternal essence of human experience, the desire for meaning, the pull of faith, and the timeless resonance of the sacred within the everyday.
Speaking about her work, Mrs. Goldy Malhotra shared,
“Whether inspired by Buddhism, Hindu mythology, or the modern world, there is a thread that unites them all, the search for the eternal source. From Buddha’s awakening to the introspection of today’s individual, we are all seeking connection with that timeless essence. This is the echo that resonates through my art.”
In his remarks, Mr. Dikshu Kukreja observed,
“Buildings created through centuries in India hold as much art as they do architecture. The theme of Echoes of the Eternal feels especially relevant in today’s world, a world in need of reflection and identity. These works beautifully express that journey, capturing not just artistic mastery but also a search for what defines our culture and heritage.”
Through bold spatula strokes and a restrained yet expressive palette, Malhotra bridges the sacred and the everyday, myth and modernity. Her paintings invite viewers to witness the eternal echo that flows across time, from the ancient to the contemporary, from the seen to the spiritual.
Echoes of the Eternal is on view at AIFACS, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, from October 25 to October 30, 2025, between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm.
