First look of ‘ Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher’s starer “Ghoomar” revealed. The actress shared the poster via her official Instagram account. Ghoomar will be a sports drama in which Saiyami can be seen in a role of a cricketer and Abhishek Bachchan as her coach and Shabana Azmi also made this journey impactful. The movie is helmed by R Balki.

While sharing the post Saiyami wrote, “A project with some of the nicest people I’ve met. That let me play a sport that I love. That let me play one of the most challenging roles I’ve played thus far; both emotionally & physically. It feels too good to be true. And I hope to continue playing even more. Groomer”.

In the poster, Saiyami can be seen next to Abhishek Bachchan with such an intense look. This will be the second time when Saiyami and Abhishek Bachchan share the screen, they both worked together in the web series Breathe 2. Meanwhile, Saiyami has a special place for sports in her life. She played cricket at the school level for Maharashtra. The actress even made it to the national team selection, but she opted for the badminton state championships instead.

When she was asked about sports she said, “While growing up, sports was my first love. I had always thought I would become a sportsperson or have something to do with sports. But then, I was bitten by the acting bug. I love being in front of the camera and living different lives with every new project. However, I never stopped thinking about what could have been. What my life would be had I chosen cricket as a career? I have often dreamt of the day when I could play a cricketer on screen and it’s finally happening now. This has been a dream come true, and I don’t want the journey to end… I just want to play some more.”
