Sania was visibly surprised and pointed out that Farah had once directed a film worth ₹300 crore. To this, Farah laughed and explained, “No, I’ve personally earned the most money from content creation. But if you ask me what I want to do, I’d like to direct, that’s my true calling.” It’s worth noting that Farah Khan’s last directorial venture was the 2014 blockbuster Happy New Year, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Abhishek Bachchan. The film grossed an impressive ₹383 crore worldwide.

Before that, Farah directed Tees Maar Khan, featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, which unfortunately didn’t perform well at the box office. However, her earlier hits like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om cemented her reputation as one of Bollywood’s most successful commercial directors. Despite not directing a film in over 11 years, Farah remains one of the most sought-after personalities on Indian television and now, on digital platforms.
