Another couple has tied the knot amidst the lockdown and this time it is none other than the beauty queen Gauahar Khan and her boyfriend Zaid Darbar. The two had a beautiful and intimate Nikaah ceremony where the two accepted each other as husband and wife. And we have the first pics from the ceremony. They chose a golden color for the ceremony. Both Gauahar and Zaid wore golden ensembles and looked like total royalties.

Not only Gauahar and Zaid, but Nigaar Khan and her mother were also all color-coordinated for the Nikaah ceremony. Yesterday, pictures and videos from their Mehendi ceremony were all over the internet. Zaid’s father who is a music composer, performed at their Mehendi ceremony and sang the track Tadap Tadap Ke from the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. In a recent interview, Gauahar Khan had revealed that within a month of their courtship Zaid Darbar proposed her for marriage and she instantly said yes. She shared that she had no second thoughts about getting married to Zaid.

“I felt this was something different because I had never met someone like him. I felt this is my kind of human being. He is like me in many ways in thoughts, behaviour, history, and characteristics. So, I knew we would have a great friendship. We didn’t have a courtship. I met him, we hit it off and he didn’t think he would propose to someone, marriage was not on his mind,” Gauahar told HT.
