Before writing this article, I took out the astrology chart for Valentine’s day, because I wanted to know what does the universe indicates regarding romantic relationships. Many of you are eagerly waiting for this opportunity to propose and kick-start a new romantic relationship. The planetary combination on that day does not favour starting a new romantic relationship.

Venus will be in a close conjunction with the Sun during Valentine’s day. The Sun which is a fire energy and Venus is a feminine energy and the Sun-Venus conjunction is not a great indication for a happy romantic life. So, if you are all set to propose during Valentine’s day, please don’t directly propose, instead try to spend time with your dream man or woman. During this speech, you will be able to identify, whether that person likes you or not.

When we go back to the age of St. Valentine, who was a Roman priest worked against the ban for marriage issues against soldiers. Claudius 11 was strictly against the marriage of young soldiers because he wanted them to be efficient without burdens of the family. St. Valentine, conducted secret marriages for these soldiers and thus he got a death sentence when his activity came into the notice of Claudius 11. Valentine’s day is celebrated in the memory of St. Valentine who fought for love and peace in the relationships. It is a festival originated from Catholic concepts of Saints.

Another legend says Valentine’s day was a festival named Lupercalia conducted in the 3rd century in the month of February and it has another name ”dies Februatus” which means the day of purification. This festival was also connected with fertility. February means purification. So, in this date and age, Valentine’s day is celebrated just like Lupercalia.

So, proposing on Valentine’s day may not be a great idea but, this is a good day to be realistic regarding romance and marriage. The Sun when comes closer with Venus, then it will trigger the true nature of the relationship. The Sun is a purifying energy, it removes the darkness and it spreads the light on every hidden matter. Likewise, let this Valentine’s day may give you a truthful relationship, which can add value to each other’s life. May all of you get a partner who can make your life productive and prosperous. May you all live “ Happily Ever After”
