The upcoming OTT reality show will feature Sunita alongside her daughter Tina Ahuja and will reportedly stream on ZEE5 from June onward. The show will be hosted by actress Shilpa Shetty.

Recently, Sunita Ahuja shared a picture with daughter Tina Ahuja from the sets of Maa Hai Na, expressing excitement about her first major reality show venture. According to reports, the show will revolve around celebrity mother-child duos competing together in cooking and entertainment-based challenges. Speaking about the project in an interview, Sunita revealed that Govinda encouraged her to work independently and build her own identity.

In a recent interaction with the media, Sunita shared the advice given to her by Govinda before she joined the show. She said, “My respected husband, Govinda, told me to go ahead and work. However, he advised me not to use his name to advance in life. Therefore, I want to stand on my own two feet without relying on anyone else.” Her statement quickly caught attention online, with many praising her confidence and independent approach.

Apart from Sunita and Tina, Maa Hai Na will reportedly feature several other well-known personalities and their family members. Some of the names linked to the show include actress Urvashi Dholakia with her son, social media personality Tanya Mittal alongside her mother, and influencer Shahida Ansari. Interestingly, Shahida Ansari had previously gained popularity through cooking content collaborations with filmmaker Farah Khan.

When asked whether she feels pressured competing with such popular names, Sunita confidently replied that she gives her best in everything she does and does not fear challenges. When asked whether she would consider participating in more reality shows in the future, she responded candidly, “Over the past two years, I have come to realize that money is essential, not love.”
