Govinda Discharged from Hospital, Shares Health Update: “I Worked Too Hard, Now Focusing on Yoga and Transformation”

There’s finally some good news for fans of Bollywood star Govinda. The actor, who was hospitalized in Mumbai after suddenly collapsing at home on November 12, has now been discharged from the hospital and is recovering well. Govinda was admitted to Critical Care Asia Multispecialty Hospital in Mumbai after he fainted at around 12 a.m. due to dizziness. His friend and legal advisor, Lalit Bindal, had revealed that the actor was feeling weak and uneasy before losing consciousness.

Doctors conducted multiple tests and kept him under observation before confirming that his condition was stable. After being discharged, Govinda personally spoke to the media and reassured his fans that he is feeling much better. Explaining what caused his health scare, the actor said, “I worked too hard. I did too much workout, which is why this happened. People who practice pranayama and yoga are doing much better. Doctors have prescribed medicines that I have to take.”

He further added that he is now focusing on his overall transformation, both mentally and physically. “I am focusing on transforming my personality. My message to youngsters is pay more attention to yoga and pranayama,” he advised. According to Lalit Bindal, Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja were not at home when the incident occurred. Sunita had gone out of Mumbai to attend a wedding, while Tina was in Chandigarh for work.

Sunita immediately returned upon hearing the news, and Tina is expected to return home soon. Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, confirmed that the actor had been advised to consult a neurologist due to a severe headache. “Doctors ran several tests and kept him under observation until his condition stabilized,” Sinha said. During his interaction with the media, Govinda also shared warm words for veteran actor Dharmendra, who was recently hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
