Now, the actress says she is tired of being constantly questioned about a chapter she considers closed. In a recent appearance on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, Akshara addressed the ongoing scrutiny surrounding her past with Pawan Singh. “It’s been a while. I also want to move on in life. He’s hanging out with ten different girls and no one questions him, but everyone questions me,” she said, pointing out what she described as a double standard.

When asked whether Pawan Singh still holds a special place in her life, Akshara deflected the question by responding, “Who is he?” signaling her desire to distance herself completely from the controversy. Akshara also revealed that she had emotionally moved on the day Pawan Singh got married. However, she claimed that she continued to get dragged into related controversies.

She mentioned that Pawan Singh’s estranged wife Jyoti had contacted her at one point, further complicating matters. Despite this, Akshara maintained that she had already decided to step away from the relationship long ago. In earlier interviews, including a conversation on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Akshara made grave allegations about her time with Pawan Singh. “This has happened many times, and once I narrowly escaped death. I was beaten in a closed room,” she claimed.

She said she made every effort to sustain the relationship, believing it would lead to a lifelong commitment. Akshara further alleged that Pawan Singh displayed controlling behavior, claiming he would insist she touch his feet on stage and would mentally break her over minor issues. She described their relationship as unconventional, even calling it a “signed deal,” and alleged that she had been made to sign an agreement.
