It’s been a year today since a rising superstar of our generation left in mysterious circumstances. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away a year ago and the void of his talent that left with him still can’t be filled.

Before his demise, Sushant had a promising career that had a lot of ups and downs. Sushant started his journey as a background dancer in Shiamak Davar’s dance academy and got his first break in Zee TV’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ which made him a household name in India and also brought him a lot of accolades.

In the year 2013 Sushant left the television industry to take his acting career forward and forayed into the film industry with ‘Kai Po Che’ alongside Amit Sadh and Rajkumar Rao. From then on Sushant went on to act in a variety of films showing his versatility in different roles. Some of his impeccable performances include portraying the most successful Indian cricket captain in ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Storya detective in ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’ and a dacoit in ‘Sonchiriya

On the actor’s first death anniversary a few of his co-actors and colleagues shared heartfelt messages which included Shraddha Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

Another post that’s making rounds on social media is of actor Siddhant Chaturvedi who was a great admirer of Sushant and looked upon him. Sushant and Siddhant both belonged to Patna and in his letter, he even mentioned that he looked upon meeting and conversing in Bhojpuri with him. He ended the video with beautiful lines from Sushant’s last film ‘Dil Bechara. Janam kab lena hai aur kab nahi lena hai ye hum nahi decide kar sakte par kaise jeena hai ye jarur decide kar sakte hai.’ The line reads as the video plays a beautiful montage of Sushant’s films and a video from Siddhant’s first meeting with Sushant.
