Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, appeared before the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) on Wednesday for the second round of questioning in the ongoing ₹252 crore drug case. The high-profile investigation continues to tighten as officials look into the roles of several individuals linked to the case. Orry arrived at the Ghatkopar ANC unit on time after receiving a second summons. The first notice, issued on November 20, was met with his response that he would not be available until November 25. A second summons was then sent on November 21, directing him to appear on November 26.

ANC officials said Orry was questioned for more than seven hours. According to sources, he did not fully cooperate during interrogation and revealed very little information. In his recorded statement, Orry reportedly stated, He earns between ₹50 lakh and ₹1 crore per Instagram promotion and brand collaboration. He receives a monthly salary of ₹3.5 lakh from Jio, where he works in the Communication Design Department. Jio covers the expenses for his driver, vehicles, and bodyguards. He attends numerous events in India and abroad and cannot recall every attendee or event detail.

He also revealed that he is invited mainly for taking pictures with celebrities and posting them online and has no involvement in drug consumption or knowledge of drug use at the parties he attends. Orry also denied having any connection with Alishah Parkar, the main accused, or any drug supply network. Investigating officials, however, are reportedly dissatisfied with his responses and may summon him again.

This is not the first time Orry has faced legal issues. As per a Jammu & Kashmir Police press release, Orry was named in an FIR on March 15 after he and several others were allegedly found consuming alcohol in a Katra hotel, despite such activities being prohibited near the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. The ANC has also summoned Siddhant Kapoor, son of actor Shakti Kapoor, who recorded his statement on November 25. Investigators say the latest summons were issued after revelations made by the main accused.
