“I Don’t Know If I am Sherdil Or Not” Actor Pankaj Tripathi Is All Set For Another Heart-Touching Story, ‘Sherdil – The Pilibhit Saga’

Coming from a village without any background in Bollywood, actor ‘Pankaj Tripathi’ is known for his talent only! He belongs to a village in Gopalganj District in Bihar, considered one of the finest artists in Bollywood. He debuted with 2004 released Run and Omkara and he is known for his roles in Fukrey, Fukrey Returns, and Mimi-like movies. Now, the 45 year’s ready to entertain the audience with ‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’, a dark humour-laced satire inspired by true events.

‘Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga’ shows the struggle of a man who can cross all the limits to feed his family, the movie is based on true events. In a conversation, Pankaj was asked that he resonates with the title ‘Sherdil.’ “The gangs of Wasseypur” said, “I don’t know if I am Sherdil or not. But my journey (in acting) has been of a ‘Sherdil’. “A boy coming from an interior part of India and thinking of becoming an actor. And he goes to become one. This is an unusual journey.”

 

Further, he continued and said “That is a constraint. Urbanisation will happen with the growth of population, the infrastructure will grow, roads etc will be made. The development will take place and if development takes place somewhere the nature. We just have to take care that there is a balance.” He added, “It is about balance and the story of Sherdil is the same too.. The film questions whether man, animal and nature live in sync together? ”

Sherdil sets and elaborates on the conflict between man, animal and poverty. The movie is directed by Srijit Mukherji and Pankaj’s wife will also Debut in Bollywood with this movie. She has a short special scene.
