“I Enjoyed Tashan A Lot, Even Though Kareena In Chhaliya Chhaliya Was My Takeaway,” Says Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan was asked in an interview about her favorite moment on the screen of, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. She said she really enjoyed watching Tashan, although the takeaway from her movie was Kareena Kapoor’s song Chhaliya Chhaliya.
Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Tashan was released in 2008 which starred Anil Kapoor. Produced by Yash Raj Films, this film was a critical and commercial failure.
In an interview, Sara was asked about her favorite Saif Akshay moments on the screen. They have appeared in several films such as Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi, and Aarzoo. “The most recent, which is probably what I remember best, is maybe Tashan. I enjoyed Tashan a lot, even though Kareena in Chhaliya Chhaliya was my takeaway. Shouldn’t say that about a co-actor or your father, so I don’t know,” she said.
Sara also talked about one of the things she wanted to learn from Kareena, who is married to her father Saif. “One of the most exciting things about Kareena is her professionalism,” she added. “She is a mother of two children but she is still out there, doing her brands, doing her films and I think that’s the only way. Kareena mere liye jeeti jaagti example hai (For me, Kareena is a living example) of ‘once an actor, always an actor’.” She also hoped to always be able to prioritize work in life.
Sara is currently preparing for the release of Anand L. Rai’s Atrangi Re. Her pairing with Akshay and Dhanush in the movie has attracted attention due to age differences. Dhanush is 12 years older to 26 years older than Sara, while Akshay is 28 years older than her.
Atrangi Re will be released digitally directly on Disney + Hotstar on December 24th.
