Sooraj Pancholi on Disha Salian Case
The development comes after the CBI registered an FIR following a Bombay High Court direction for a fresh investigation into the circumstances surrounding Disha Salian’s 2020 death. The FIR names several people, including Aaditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea and Rhea Chakraborty. These are allegations under investigation and should not be treated as established facts. Reacting to the controversy, Sooraj said he had already given his statement to the police and questioned why his name continues to be linked to a case involving someone he says he never knew.

The actor maintained that he never met Disha Salian and had no connection with her, and said he had nothing to conceal from the authorities. He also appealed to people to distinguish between information coming from an official investigation and speculation circulating on social media.
Aaditya Thackeray
One of the most striking parts of Sooraj’s statement was his clarification about Aaditya Thackeray. The actor said he had never met Thackeray in his life, pushing back against speculation that has repeatedly linked the two names amid discussion surrounding the case. His statement comes at a particularly sensitive moment, with the CBI investigation now bringing fresh attention to several names that had previously surfaced in public discussions around Disha’s death.
Disha Salian
Disha Salian, who had worked as a celebrity manager, died in Mumbai in June 2020. Her death had previously been treated as a suicide by the authorities. Following a Bombay High Court order, the CBI has now begun a fresh investigation and registered an FIR. Disha’s father, Satish Salian, had approached the court and subsequently recorded his statement before the CBI, making serious allegations that are now part of the investigation. The agency’s investigation will now determine the facts and establish whether the allegations have any evidentiary basis.
