Mumbai may be the city of dreams, but for many actors, living that dream comes with a staggering price tag. MTV Roadies 8 winner Aanchal Khurana has now given fans a brutally honest glimpse into her life in the city, revealing that she pays a whopping ₹70,000 every month for a 1 BHK apartment, yet the view and living conditions are far from glamorous. In a candid vlog, Aanchal showed her apartment and opened up about the realities of being an actor in Mumbai, where even a costly rental home does not necessarily guarantee comfort or luxury.

₹70,000 Rent, But No Dreamy Mumbai View

Aanchal revealed that her apartment is located on the 13th floor, but instead of a sea view, lush greenery or a fancy skyline, her window overlooks a large slum settlement. The actress showed viewers different corners of her home, including the cupboards where she keeps her clothes and expensive bags. However, the biggest shock came when she spoke about the surroundings. Despite paying ₹70,000 in rent every month, Aanchal said the area has an unpleasant smell that makes her living experience extremely difficult.

Speaking candidly about the situation, Aanchal used a rather shocking comparison, saying that she feels like she is living like a pig in the stench. Her blunt admission reflects a side of Mumbai life that celebrity house tours rarely show. While stars often showcase luxurious apartments, stunning interiors and panoramic views, Aanchal chose to reveal the uncomfortable reality behind the rent she pays. Her video has consequently struck a chord with people familiar with the city’s notoriously expensive housing market.

Aanchal also spoke about the difficulty of owning property in Mumbai. According to her, buying her own house in the city would take an impossibly long time, she jokingly estimated 400-500 years. Her comment highlighted the financial pressure faced by actors who may appear successful on screen but still struggle with the enormous cost of living in Mumbai. Aanchal’s vlog wasn’t simply a house tour. It was an attempt to show what life can actually look like for a working actor away from the glamour of television and social media.

She questioned whether people ever think about the difficulties an actor has to go through while trying to build a career in the entertainment industry. Aanchal, who continues to work in television and is currently associated with Tu Juliet Jatt Di, has offered fans a refreshingly unfiltered look at her Mumbai life. Behind the glamour, designer bags and television appearances, Aanchal Khurana’s ₹70,000 rental home has revealed a very different Mumbai story, one where earning a place in the city can be just as difficult as making it in the entertainment industry.
