“If Someone Said Such Things About Your Daughter”, Nikki Tamboli Slams Prince Narula Over Alleged Body-Shaming on ‘The 50’

Reality show The 50 is grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons. Instead of its competitive format, the show is trending for controversies, heated arguments, and alleged body-shaming incidents. The latest storm erupted after Bigg Boss 14 fame Nikki Tamboli publicly criticized reality TV star Prince Narula over alleged remarks about her appearance. The clash has now spilled onto social media, intensifying debates about accountability and respect in reality television.

During a recent episode of The 50, Prince Narula allegedly made comments about Nikki Tamboli’s looks. While the remarks were reportedly made behind her back, Nikki later shared the clip on X, calling out what she described as silent body-shaming. In her post, Nikki directly questioned Prince’s role as a public figure and a father. She wrote, “So-called husband, father, public figure. If someone said such things about your daughter’s body, would you still laugh? This isn’t a strategy. This isn’t a game. This is silent body-shaming—a sneaky approach.”

Her statement quickly went viral, with fans divided over the controversy. Nikki didn’t stop there. She followed up with a powerful message about influence and accountability, “Cameras don’t destroy character. Influence isn’t an excuse for disrespect. Mocking someone behind their back isn’t power. If you have something to say, say it to their face. Mocking behind their back isn’t strength, it’s fear masquerading as confidence. And influence without responsibility? That isn’t leadership. This is a weakness in front of the audience.”

Her remarks have sparked a larger conversation about body-shaming, age-shaming, and personal attacks in reality shows. The 50 features 50 celebrity contestants from television, films, and social media competing in various challenges. The show is currently airing on both TV and OTT platforms. However, instead of being known for gameplay and strategy, the show has faced criticism for physical altercations, lewd remarks, mocking personal relationships, and body-shaming and age-shaming.

Known for her outspoken personality, Nikki became one of the most talked-about contestants that season.
