Imlie; Karan Vohra Takes Charge To Lead The Show As Agastya; Here’s The List Of The New Cast For The Show!

Star Plus one of the most popular shows ‘Imlie’ is all set to rejuvenate with the new cast. As per the reports, lead actors Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer will exit the show which welcomes a new cast and excitement as well. Fans are very eager to know about the new twist and turn in the show. The new cast of the show featured actors like Megha Chakroborty, Seerat Kapoor and Karan Vohra, roped in to play the lead roles in the show.

The makers released a promo that featured  Megha as Imlie and Seerat as Cheen. Actor Karan Vohra heads to the male lead of the show. The actor knows for his performance in successful shows like  ‘Krishna Chali London’ and ‘Zindagi Ki Mehek.’ When he was asked about his excitement or nervousness about his new journey, the actor said, “Honestly, I’m not that much into all this. Things like pressure, TRPs and all don’t bother me that much. I am more devoted to my performance and my job. Taking risks in life is important as well. I am thrilled to find out how things would turn out to be with this show.”

While answering about the motivation he seeks to sign the show, he said, “Gul Khan and Four Lions are very known in the industry. Their shows are pro to grab audience attention and garnered fans’ love as well. Well! coming back to television after a gap of two and a half years and one of the reasons was I was getting similar kinds of characters like an arrogant guy wearing three-piece suits. I want to explore some new kinds of characters and with ‘Image’ I’m getting to do just that. I’ll play a DJ (Disco Jokey) in the show named Agastya. He is vibrant, funky and everything that I haven’t played so far. It’s exciting and intriguing for me”.

Karan Vohra had shared the screen with Megha already in the show ‘Krishna Chali London and was surprised and excited that have her as his co-star. Well! It will be very exciting to have a new cast in the show and let’s see if they make some more headlines.
