It is yet another World cup win for India! The fourth one. After 2000, 2008, 2012 and now 2018. Indian team stupendously won the ICC Under-19 World Cup Title to become the only country to lift the coveted title for the fourth time. Under Prithvi Shaw’s brilliant captaincy and ultimate guidance of coach Rahul Dravid, the team put up a great show. In the finale match, bowlers restricted the Aussies to score meager 216 runs whereas on the batting side, Manjot Kalra’s unbeaten century paved way for the team to win by wickets! Manjot Kalra was declared the Man of the Match while Shubhman Gill was honoured with Man of the series.

The entire nation is celebrating the historic victory! The massive win obviously got everyone filled with sheer proud including biggies like PM Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan and SRK who took it to social media to express their joy and congratulate the winning team.

PM Modi was quick to congratulate the team for its stupendous performance on Twitter. He wrote, ” Absolutely thrilled by the stupendous achievement of our young cricketers. Congratulations to them on winning the Under-19 World Cup. This triumph makes every Indian extremely proud.”

Big B Amitabh Bachchan, who recently almost threatened to quit Twitter as the number of his followers decreased, also had a special message for the team.

SRK was as usually his witty best and had a rather fun message for the winning team who has made the entire nation beefed up with proud. He tweeted, ” Wow. What a proud moment for young India. Well done lil ones…May u keep conquering the world. And keep playing FIFA …on the side. A great morning.”

Magnum opus Baahubali director SS Rajamouli seemed highly impressed with the bowling lineup!
