INSIDE: These pics of Deepika-Ranveer holding hands at Padmaavat screening will just make your day!

After being subjected to massive uproar, countless controversies, violence, and a lot of hue and cry, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat is finally all set to hit the theatres today. The makers hosted a customary screening of the film last night in Mumbai wherein cast and crew turned up in large numbers. Right from the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, everyone was beaming with happiness.

Shahid Kapoor was all smiles as he attended the event with family – Mira, Ishaan Khatter, Neelima Azeem and Mira’s parents. Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur didn’t miss the proud moment and turned up with his wife Supriya Pathak and daughter.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the alleged couple who do not share a single scene in the film, grabbed maximum eyeballs last night as they both arrived together and walked hand-in-hand with sheer happiness beaming on their faces. The duo took their PDA level to yet another level by turning up in colour-coordinated clothes. Deepika looked resplendent in a white anarkali whereas Ranveer, contrary to his role in Padmaavat, looked calm in white embroidered kurta-pyjama set. However, he added his statement quirk element with unsual juttis.

The rumoured couple, Ranveer and Deepika had been strictly advised to be not seen together till the release of the film. Hand-in-hand and with grinning smiles, the couple walked fearlessly to the theatre last night. Paparazzi caught them in the moment, and the pictures scream nothing but LOVE! Have a look!

And we are totally floored! The way Ranveer is looking at his ladylove has totally floored us, yet again!

By the way, Deepika has worn this outfit earlier as well. Four years back, during the promotions of Chennai Express, Deepika had donned the same white anarkali. Don’t believe us? Here is a proof!

We are not complaining as we are overjoyed with the fact that the film is making its way to the theatres after being subjected to unfair share of tension. The official release date of Padmaavat is 25th January but the iMAX 3D version of the film will release today, i.e. 24th Jan.
