After director Ali Abbas Zafar revealed that Priyanka has dropped out of the film, there were various reports that were circulating about Salman Khan being upset with the actress. That’s not it. It was also reported that Salman has vowed to never work with the actress again.

But how true was it? Well, Priyanka’s mother has opened up about the issue and has rubbished all these rumours. Recently, in a media interaction, Madhu Chopra was asked about Priyanka’s sudden exit from Bharat. When asked if Salman is angry because of PeeCee’s decision, Madhu said, “You people (Media) only make such stuff up, Salman is not upset with her.”

She further talked about the incident when a producer of Bharat called Priyanka ‘unprofessional’. She called those rumours off too, saying that nothing like that has happened and everything is good.

A few days back, Ali Abbas Zafar took to his twitter account to share about Priyanka’s exit. Going by his tweet, it seemed like there is no hard feelings between the two.  His tweet also hinted at Priyanka & Nick’s engagement, a topic which still hasn’t been touched by Priyanka.

Recently, it was also announced that Katrina has taken up Priyanka’s place in the movie. Katrina will be playing the love interest of Salman in Bharat, which is an adaptation of 2014 South Korean Drama, An Ode To My Father. Apart from Salman & Katrina, the movie also stars Disha Patani, Tabu and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The film is being co-produced by Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and is slated for an Eid 2019 release.

On the other hand, Priyanka, who recently finished shooting for  her upcoming Hollywood flick Isn’t It Romantic, will make her Bollywood comeback with Shonali Bose’s directorial The Sky Is Pink. According to reports, Priyanka has also signed a film opposite Chris Pratt named Cowboy Ninja Viking.
