Janhvi Kapoor Recalls And Misses Her Mother Sridevi On The Fourth Anniversary Of Her Death; Read On!

On the fourth anniversary of her mother’s death, actress Janhvi Kapoor paid tribute to her mother and actor Sridevi, saying she hopes the late Bollywood icon is proud of her. Sridevi, the first lady superstar in Indian film, died on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, after unintentionally drowning in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Sridevi was a dynamic Indian actress who was renowned as the Indian film industry’s female superstar. Hawa-Hawai and Chandni were some of her other nicknames. She works in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, among other languages. In the 1990s, she was one of the highest-paid actresses.

He made her first on-screen appearance when she was four years old in the Tamil film Thunaivan, in which she played little Lord Muruga; however, she became well-known after her performance as Sivaji Ganesan’s adoptive daughter in the film Babu (1971). Her act as a child artist in the Malayalam film Poompatta (1971) earned her a lot of attention, and she was nominated for the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist.

Janhvi uploaded a flashback photo of herself with Sridevi on Instagram, along with an emotional comment noting that she had spent more years in her life with her than without her. But she despises the fact that another year has passed since she last saw her mother. She hopes her mother is proud of her since that is the only thing that motivates her to keep going.

Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor’s younger sister, also paid homage to her mother on Instagram Stories by sharing a photo from her childhood with Sridevi. Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor is said to be in Chennai to promote his new film, “Valimai,” which stars South superstar Ajith Kumar. On Thursday, the Tamil action thriller was released in theatres.
