Jeff Bezos, The CEO Of Amazon, Is Heading To Space- Big News

On the first-ever crewed flight, Jeff Bezos will be going to Space along with his brother. The rocket ship New Shepard is made by Bezos’ Space company, Blue Origin. The flight is scheduled for July 20th, just 15 days after he is set to resign as CEO of Amazon. The rocket ship is named after Mercury astronaut Alan Shepard, the first American to go to Space. It is a six-seater capsule and 59-foot rocket. It will be an 11-minute flight that’ll reach more than 60 miles above the Earth.

Not even the SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, has yet built a rocket powerful enough to orbit around the Earth. However, he also has announced his plan to travel to Space on one of his company’s human-worthy crew capsules.

Jeff Bezos created Amazon in 1994, as an online bookseller, with $250,000 with the help of his parents. Over the years, it has grown into a multi-billion dollar company, which is famous worldwide. Later, in the year 2000, Bezos founded Blue Origin, a spaceflight company. Since then, the company has conducted numerous test flights with no one on board at their facilities in rural Texas, US.

In the Instagram Clip, he can be seen saying, “To see the Earth from space, it changes you.” “I want to go on this flight because it’s a thing I’ve wanted to do all my life. It’s a big deal for me,” he added.
