The matriarch of the Kapoor family, Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary actor Raj Kapoor, died on Monday (October 1), following a cardiac arrest at the age of 87. The entire film fraternity were gathered at Kapoor’s to bid their final goodbye to Krishna Raj Kapoor.
A grief-ridden son Randhir even put out a statement saying “My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest…old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise.” Not just the Kapoor’s but many close friends from the film fraternity came to give their last respects to Krishna.
Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt came to her residence in Chembur to offer condolences. However, the netizen were shocked to see Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar laughing and giggling at the prayer meet.
In a video which surfaced on the internet, the trio was seen smiling and chatting and looks like it didn’t go down well with the fans. Check out the video here:

Krishna Raj Kapoor’s last rites were performed by her eldest son Randhir Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were not there as they had gone to the US where Rishi Kapoor is scheduled to undergo medical treatment.
