Filmmaker Karan Johar, who has been called by some as the ‘flag bearer of Nepotism’, has been targeted by trolls on social media time and again. Karan Johar is once again a subject for social media trolls, who are criticising him for harbouring nepotism in the film industry. It happened this time after the director unveiled the cast of his forthcoming film Takht.
Takht has a stellar star cast including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Tweeple slammed Karan over this ensemble cast. Some users suggested him to cast Taimur Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s son in the movie.
A Twitter user commented, “You forget Taimur (sic)”, while another one reminded him of Kangana, who was the first one to call him out for being the ‘flag-bearer of nepotism’ on his show Koffee with Karan. The user wrote, “Lol and then people get pissed off when Kangana says something about Nepotism! This picture screams Nepotism! (sic).”

However, Johar was in no mood to let them pass and took to sarcasm to give fitting replies to these comments. Karan Johar took these trolls down one by one. Here is how the director tossed them out:
Talking about Takht, it is produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Production and is co-produced by Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta. The flick will hit the theatres in 2020 and will be Karan’s first directorial venture after Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma-starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).
