Actor Keerthy Suresh has responded to a social media user’s criticism over her reported special dance appearance in Nani’s upcoming Telugu film The Paradise. Rather than engaging with the claim that she was taking up a dance number because she was not getting substantial acting roles, Keerthy chose to respond with a sarcastic “small correction” about the film’s language.
The controversy began after an Instagram post claimed that Keerthy was reportedly set to feature in a special dance sequence in The Paradise. The post questioned why the actor would take up such a role and suggested that her decision was linked to an alleged “lack of substantial roles”. The post also incorrectly described The Paradise as a Kannada film.
Keerthy responded in the comments section, choosing not to directly address the criticism about her career. Instead, she pointed out the factual error in the post. “Vera level ponga! Chinna correction. Nani nadippathu Telugu. Kannada alla,” she wrote, which roughly translates to, “Next level, wow! Just a small correction. Nani acts in Telugu, not Kannada.”
There has been speculation that Keerthy could make a special appearance in The Paradise, although the reports remain unconfirmed. The film’s teaser reportedly did not reveal any details about her involvement, leaving her possible dance appearance a subject of discussion among fans.
The Paradise stars Nani in the lead role and is directed by Srikanth Odela. The project marks another collaboration between Nani and Odela after Dasara. The upcoming action thriller also features Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Tanikella Bharani, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and Eeshwari Rao in important roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.
The film has undergone multiple postponements and is currently scheduled to release in theatres on September 24, 2026. Its teaser has already generated considerable interest, with audiences particularly curious about its dark and intense visual world.
