‘Krrish 4’ In The Making: A Brief On The Franchise Rewound Till Date

‘Krrish’ being one of the most successful franchises of Bollywood, has been long in news as everyone is eager for the fourth instalment after ‘Krrish 3’. Director Rakesh Roshan revealed that various circumstances led to a postponement of the film. According to him, the film was all set for a Christmas 2020 release, but eventually the script, which was a work-in-progress, caused a delay.

Contrarily, as per latest reports, Hrithik Roshan gives hint over social media for ‘Krrish 4’ that it is in the making and will be out soon. On Wednesday, June 23, the Bollywood actor took to his Instagram handle, and celebrated 15 years of ‘Krrish’ with the fans, sharing a short video, where his superhero alter ego Krrish is seen tossing his black mask.

Further, he captioned the post, “The past is done. Let’s see what the future brings. Krrish4. #15yearsofkrrish #Krrish4.”

Furthermore, Krrish was the second film in the franchise. ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ had been the prequel, which laid the foundation of the story of Rohit Mehra. The character of Rohit Mehra showed us that he was very innocent and quite a mentally disabled boy, and then how he gets superhero abilities after meeting ‘Jaadu’, the alien. Next, in the film ‘Krrish’, Krishna Mehra, Rohit Mehra’s son, had been identified to have his father’s supernatural powers. In the film, Krishna Mehra was seen struggling to keep his identity a secret. But however, he was forced to reveal his identity for saving the world. ‘Krrish’ also starred Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, alongside Hrithik.

Next, in ‘Krrish 3’, Krrish (Krishna Mehra) and his father (Rohit Mehra) was seen getting in to a mission to defeat human-animal mutants created by an evil genius, Kaal, and Kaya, the leader of his vile army.

Moving on, Hrithik’s work-front says that he is also looking forward to his next ‘Fighter’, alongside ‘Krrish 4’. Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Fighter’ also features Deepika Padukone alongside the actor.
