The ‘Fair and Lovely’ girl and Vicky Donor actress, Yami Gautam is all set to welcome her younger sister into the film industry. Yami’s sissy, Surilie Jasraj Singh will mark her debut opposite Randeeb Hooda in the film Battle of Saragarhi.
Interestingly, Surilie will be launched by director Rajkumar Santoshi. Known for his impressive films like Andaz Apna Apna, Pukar, Damini, Ghatak and other, Santoshi is surely one big name to embark one’s filmy career!
Yami posted a selfie on her Instagram profile with director Rajkumar Santoshi and Surilie to announce the happy news. “Super excited for my little boo @surilie_j_singh on her debut “Battle of Saragarhi” with the one and only #rajkumarsantoshi,” she captioned the picture.
Surilie too shared the same and announced her debut movie on Instagram. “Super elated and excited to start my first movie with an ace director like Rajkumar Santoshi sir can’t wait to begin this special journey #battleofsaragarhi #debut #rajkumarsantoshi #randeephooda #blessed #grattitude” her caption read.
Randeep Hooda will play the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in Battle Of Saragarhi. Sardar Bahadur Ishar Singh (30 December 1895 – 2 December 1963) was a soldier in the British Indian Arm. He was also the first Sikh recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for bravery in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth nations.
Interestingly, an Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Kesari is also based on the same concept. Kesari has been embroiled in controversies for a long time now. The film was said to be a joint venture between Salman Khan Films and Dharma Productions. Clashes between the two emerged when Akshay hired Salman’s ex-maganer Reshma Shetty.
Anyway, coming back to Surilie Jasraj Singh, the diva is a professional actor and has worked in television shows and Punjabi films. She is married to Jasraj Singh Bhatti, son of Late Indian comedian Jaspal Bhatti.
Meanwhile, here are a few stunning of the debutant!
