Speaking in an interview with one of the media houses, Mahesh Bhatt shared that he recently discovered this while shooting an advertisement alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Alia. Raha accompanied her mother to the set but chose to spend time in her personal vanity van. Describing the van, Bhatt said it looked like a nursery designed for children, reflecting a perfect blend of comfort and creativity.

Recalling the incident, Mahesh Bhatt revealed, “Alia told me, ‘Papa, why don’t you sit in Raha’s room?’ But I didn’t want to disturb her. The vanity felt as sacred as a temple. I thought, ‘No, no, no, there’s no place for an old man here.’” The veteran director went on to admire how Alia Bhatt balances her home, career, and personal life with grace. He praised her for managing her marriage and motherhood while continuing to work at the peak of her career.

“Alia got married, became a mother, and still shines in her profession. She even took Rhea along to Milan for a Gucci event. That’s what today’s new-age heroines do work, raise children, and make no compromises,” he added. Interestingly, Mahesh Bhatt’s revelation comes at a time when the culture of vanity vans in Bollywood has been under fire. Recently, Aamir Khan criticized the growing demands of actors for hefty fees and luxury amenities for their crews.
