After stepping out of the house, Mridul said he immediately watched Episode 80 to understand how contestants were being portrayed compared to real events. He revealed that during the episode, Amaal Malik shared an emotional story about calling his aunt whenever he felt low and wanting to fly to New Zealand. The housemates teased Amaal gently, joking about how some people’s problems involve international trips.

Mridul added, “Gaurav said his aunt lives in Kanpur, so he can only go there. After that, I shared my story, how I once worked as a photographer, admired Dabboo Ratnani Sir, and wanted to learn photography from him. But when I watched the episode, as soon as Amaal’s story ended… cut. My entire segment was removed.” The former contestant said he was eagerly waiting to see how his nomination task speech was aired. Each team was allotted 15 minutes, while one got 7.5 minutes.

Mridul shared parts of his original speech in which he mentioned how people from UP, Delhi, Haryana, MP, and Rajasthan treat him like a son and vote with love. He also expressed his wish to win the trophy for them and talked about not being well-educated and not knowing English, adding, “To win hearts, you need emotions, not language.” Mridul said this line earned massive applause from the live audience present inside. However, he claims this entire impactful segment was omitted from the telecast and said, “My speech was five minutes long. I’m not asking for all five. Show one minute at least, the best part but they didn’t. The audience will think my speech lacked power. That’s why they think I got fewer votes.”
