Neha Kakkar surprised everyone when she announced her marriage with Punjabi Singer Rohanpreet Singh. The two got married within two months of their meeting. Neha and Rohanpreet met in August to shoot for their music video Nehu Da Vyah. They eventually fell in love during the shoot and tied the knot in October. Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh has been quite secretive about their marriage. Now, Neha Kakkar has finally opened up about their love life and said that Rohanpreet Singh was drunk when he proposed her for marriage.

Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh recently made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. During the conversation Neha revealed that Rohanpreet had asked for her Snapchat ID that got them together. Neha added that she had made it very clear that she is looking for marriage since she felt that it was her age to finally settle down. Rohanpreet had said that he was not ready to tie the knot so soon since he was just 25 years old.

Neha further reveald that they both stopped talking for a while then one night Rohanpreet Singh called her and proposed her for marriage. “Nehu, I can’t live without you. Let’s get married,” Rohanpreet told Neha over the phone. “”Inhone 2-3 beer chadhayi hui thi. Maine socha, beer chadhayi hui hai, chhodo, subah bhool jayenge (He had downed two-three beers. I thought, ‘He is drunk, he will forget what he said in the morning’),” said Neha.

Neha further revealed that she had flown to Chandigarh next morning to shoot another music video. Rohanpreet followed her in her hotel room and asked her about her proposal. “Yeh kehte hai, ‘Nehu, kal ki baat yaad hai na?’ Maine kaha, ‘Pee thi aapne, mujhe kyun nahi yaad rahegi?’ (He asked if I remembered what happened last night. I said, ‘You were the one who was drinking, why will I not remember?’),” Neha revealed.

By this time, Neha realised that Rohanpreet was serious about his proposal afterwhich she asked him to speak to her mother who liked him instantly.
