Let the celebrations begin! Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement party on Saturday can be confirmed now. Because ladies and gentleman, Nick Jonas has touched down in India with his parents. Nick was clicked at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport in Mumbai with his mother Denise and father Kevin Jonas Sr. However, his two brother Kevin and Joe were not seen with them.
Nick looked dapper in an all-black look. We already knew that PeeCee is throwing a big Bollywood party on 18th, and it is apparently a post-engagement cheer. The couple got engaged after he popped the question on her birthday last month in London. The singer’s parents, Paul and Denise Jonas exited the airport carrying a signature Tiffany & Co. bag, presumably a gift for the Chopra family.
Without further ado, check out all the pictures and videos from Nick’s arrival at the airport:
“Nick Jonas and his immediate family are traveling to India this weekend to attend an engagement party hosted by Priyanka’s family. It’s going to be the first time that their families intermingle and get to know each other. It’s a tradition for them to meet before the wedding and Priyanka’s family insisted on hosting the Jonas family in their country,” a source was quoted by E! News.
We recently came across Priyanka’s engagement ring from Nick at the Manish Malhotra bash earlier this week. Bollywood diva Ranveena Tandon, who had put out a picture with her and PeeCee from the party had The Sky is Pink actress showing off her gigantic piece of rock on her finger. Check out the picture!
A source close to another media portal was quoted as saying, “Priyanka wants everything to be traditional to respect her family’s values, and definitely an Indian wedding. Priyanka and Nick are excited for everyone to meet and to celebrate. Everything is very secretive but guests are expected to head there starting tomorrow. All of the plans are moving quickly and Priyanka and Nick do not want to have a long engagement.”
Priyanka is currently in Mumbai to film the movie The Sky Is Pink, based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died in 2015 at the age of 18.
